I have been kayak fishing for quite a few years now, love it. It would be nice to have a way to meet others who like it as well. I bought a revolution 13 from you this fall, it is a very effective way to fish from a kayak….lots of fun too. A tourney would be fun,but just getting people from all levels of kayak fishing together for a day would be loads of fun. I have a half dozen yaks at my place so if need be in a group they could be used.

You are so right about it being hard to track one down here in the UK! I’ve just spent hours on the Internet trying and eventually found one at the same place as Evolver Barry – Cornwall-canoes – (which is not too far from my home).
Is it me or should it be easier to get a price and stockist, and why don’t Hobie do a better job of promoting the eVolve motor?

Thanks, your review helped me make my desicion to buy one. However i did find it hard to track one down here in the UK found one from these guys in the end. Quite expensive but it really is a top bit of kit

Great review. I too have tried the eVolve motor. You couldn’t be more dead on with your review. However I did prefer the motor to be mounted in the Mirage Drive rather than on the rudder. I felt it gave me better control.
